Conduct advanced open-source and investigative research supporting federal law-enforcement operations. The role focuses on synthesizing commercial investigative databases, law-enforcement systems, and open-source information to identify individuals of interest and produce actionable lead and intelligence packages. Operational coverage may include day, swing, night, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on mission requirements.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze information from commercial investigative databases, law-enforcement systems, social media, and other open-source sources.
- Develop lead packages containing identifiers, addresses, associates, vehicles, financial indicators, and other relevant intelligence.
- Conduct OSINT research using investigative tools and databases.
- Prepare analytical reports that summarize findings and support enforcement and investigative activity.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews before reports are submitted.
- Support high-tempo investigative operations and adjust analytical priorities as mission requirements change.
QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance or DHS Public Trust clearance.
- 6+ years of experience supporting immigration enforcement, border security, intelligence analysis, military intelligence, or law-enforcement analytical operations.
- Experience supervising or coordinating teams responsible for screening, prioritizing, and developing investigative leads.
- Ability to reprioritize analytical tasks based on changing operational direction.
- Skill in identifying targeting indicators, subject identifiers, and officer-safety considerations.
- Experience with associate and network analysis.
- Experience meeting defined lead-development and enhancement timelines.
- Experience monitoring analytical workloads and performance metrics.
- Experience with automated systems for assignment, tracking, and management of investigative leads or cases.
- Strong analytical writing and communication skills.
NICE TO HAVES
- Foreign-language proficiency, particularly Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, or Arabic.
- Experience with immigration, border-security, and criminal-justice laws and policies.
- Python, SQL, or other data-querying and processing tools.
CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizen; active Top Secret clearance or DHS Public Trust clearance.
