Serve as the technical authority and delivery leader for a federal ServiceNow program. This role leads modernization of multiple ServiceNow applications, owns Agile delivery outcomes, works closely with solution architects and business stakeholders, and provides technical leadership and mentoring to the delivery team.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary delivery contact between technical teams and the customer.
- Lead customer meetings including sprint reviews, status updates, roadmap discussions, and issue-resolution sessions.
- Lead design reviews, solution discussions, and technical briefings.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions.
- Own delivery outcomes related to quality, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on schedule, within scope, and to required quality standards.
- Drive sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog refinement with Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, remove blockers, and maintain alignment between customer requirements and implementation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of platform architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
- Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional team members and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Track delivery KPIs, improve delivery processes, and ensure documentation and governance requirements are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering, architecture, and/or technical leadership experience.
- Strong technical background in software engineering, systems architecture, or a similar discipline.
- Deep understanding of SaaS and low-code/no-code workflow platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
- Experience with KPI tracking, roadmap planning, scope definition, and timelines.
- Experience leading engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Customer-facing experience with enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
