Lead advanced analytics, AI/ML, data visualization, and intelligence-focused data initiatives supporting federal law-enforcement and intelligence missions. The position combines Python, SQL, cloud development, visualization, predictive modeling, and operational analytics.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with stakeholders to define analytical needs and deliver insights using advanced analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, and predictive modeling.
  • Develop scalable data models and integrate information from law-enforcement systems, commercial sources, OSINT, and social-media platforms.
  • Design dashboards and reports using platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences to support operational decisions.
  • Manage relational databases and support data integrity, accessibility, and consistency.
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and processing using Python, SQL, Power Automate, and AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Support cloud modernization and data architecture in AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Develop models for lead generation, prioritization, targeting, entity resolution, link analysis, pattern-of-life analysis, and social-media analysis.
  • Produce intelligence products and target packages supporting investigative and operational activities.
  • Design AI/ML solutions that collect, process, and structure large volumes of social-media content into actionable case information.
  • Develop scalable approaches for ingesting text, image, video, and metadata while maintaining reliability and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in data science, advanced analytics, visualization, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting federal law-enforcement, intelligence, or national-security missions.
  • Experience leading production AI/ML, predictive analytics, and mission-intelligence solutions.
  • Advanced Python skills and strong SQL/relational-database expertise.
  • Experience developing scalable automated data pipelines and analytics workflows.
  • Hands-on AWS cloud experience, including services such as S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Strong Tableau and/or Power BI visualization and data-storytelling skills.
  • Experience with link analysis, geospatial analysis, or network visualization.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Git, testing, iterative development, prototyping, and proof-of-concept delivery.
